Daiwa Steez CT SV Baitcaster Reel
The Daiwa Steez CT SV Baitcaster Reel is one of our flagship reels and one of the finest baitcasting reels money can buy. The new compact 70 size is also small, palm-able and ultra comfortable. Twelve ball bearings as well as a roller bearing make this reel one of the smoothest on the market. The light 5.3 oz. design incorporates a wide range of our most advanced technologies. The rigid frame and side cover are constructed from Magnesium which is half the weight of aluminum, yet just as strong.
The SV Spool is milled from ultralight G1 Aluminum alloy. Our Air Brake System virtually eliminates backlashes utilizing centrifugal and magnetic force. A comfortable, 80mm handle comes equipped with soft paddle handles. Available in 6.3 to 1 and 8.1 to 1 gear ratios, the reels are technique versatile. A state of the art drag system can apply an impressive ten pounds of drag pressure, unheard of for a reel this size. - Lasting 12 times longer than standard stainless steel bearings Daiwa’s corrosion resistant ball bearings feature specially treated stainless steel, and a protective shield on the bearing race that seals out sand, fine grit, salt crystals and other abrasives. The result is a longer lasting bearing that’s protected from the corrosive elements that destroy traditional bearings.

- Daiwa’s SV spool delivers a superior level of versatility, application and performance.
- TWS
- Daiwa’s revolutionary T-Wing System addresses the issue of traditional line guide/level wind systems constricting line flow by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle and minimal friction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts.
